The Contractors State License Board (CSLB) and concerned construction industry organizations are working together to catch unlicensed, illegal contractors and to put an end to the damage they are inflicting on homeowners, the industry, and the State and local economies.
YOU CAN HELP IN THIS IMPORTANT EFFORT!
If you are aware of an unlicensed contractor working in your area, call the nearest CSLB office listed. CSLB has developed specially trained teams - Underground Economy Enforcement Units (UEEU's) - to find and prosecute unlicensed contractors throughout the state.
The Best 'Lead': When you know the unlicensed contractor will be at a certain project or in a specific area for a number of days. It gives the UEEU staff time to get there and catch them in the act.
